The LogReport idea was born on April 6th 2000 over a beer and a good meal. The LogReport foundation was established August 21st 2000, and is called Stichting LogReport Foundation officially. (The word Stichting means Foundation in Dutch. Dutch law obliges us to use the word Stichting for a foundation). The articles of association (in Dutch) can be viewed (Articles of Association).

The financial and management support of Stichting NLnet puts a solid basis under the LogReport initiative.
